EasyGPS by Topografix is a free utility that will open and transfer Travel By GPS waypoint and route data in GPX format to your Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance GPS receiver. With EasyGPS you can also create and edit your own waypoints and routes.
ExpertGPS

EasyGPS's big brother, transfers all GPX data (waypoints, routes, and tracks) at TravelByGPS.com to your GPS receiver. ExpertGPS uses your internet connection to download free topographic and aerial photo maps from the Internet and stores them on your computer. Moreover, ExpertGPS is a great tool for editing GPX data and creating simple maps. New ExpertGPS Ver.2 adds custom symbology and the ability to create area (polygon) map features.



Fugawi Global Navigator Software

Fugawi Global Navigator is designed for overlaying GPS data on digital basemaps from a variety of sources. FUGAWI OFFERS DIGITAL MAPS THAT YOU CAN'T FIND ANY WHERE ELSE. Global Navigator now comes with a vector world background map, elevation data, place names data, and street maps. Fugawi will also import scanned map images that you can georeference (calibrate) and use to create your own trail guides, street maps, and nautical charts. The "fly through" feature allows you to see your maps and data in 3D as never before. And now you can create digital tour guides by linking proximity waypoints to multi-media resources.
